Oo La La... Sweetness!

Oo La La...Sweetness

Hi Ladies!  For those who have gotten snow, do you need something warm to satisfy those cravings?
Slide on down to my place and I will take care of that! No snow you say? Come on over anyway and we will have a wonderful time with our chocolate drinks!
We finally got snow and I am so happy! It is sooooo beautiful outside, looking at the trees that is just heavy with snow. So I thought a beverage station was in order. It has been set up for a while and just keep switching out cups, plates, etc. We are set up for Valentines. So please, come join me!

 I have plenty of mugs....

For those cold brisk days,  a cup or two will do....

Some Swiss Mocha and Marshmallows....

Cinnamon and Amaretto to make an ADULT Mexican Mocho

I used a lotion dispenser for the amaretto

 Or would you prefer tea?

 Don't forget your silver spoon!

Grab a plate.....

Please don't forget your truffles.  Coconut, Pearl Beads or Crystal Sugar..you pick!
(Jacqueline over at Purple Chocolat Home  has a delightful recipe for her snowball cookie pops. It looks fantastic and easy to make. I wish I knew about it before I made these. These truffles had more steps then hers.)

I am sure what ever we drink and eat, we will have a wonderful time getting to know each other!
Thank you for stopping by!

Until the next time,
Muah!    Andrea

Brrrrrr...It's Chili Chilly!

As winter continues to blow it's fury

Tonight it is Chili Chilly at the table

As the ice dances on the branches...

Mr. Snowman is all bundled up for his ice boarding adventures.

While snowflakes continue to make their magic.

The pinecone glistens in the cold night light....

But the warmth from a candle makes it cozy for two.

While Mr. Me and I enjoy our warm bowl of Chili and Cornbread Muffin, I will give you time to enjoy the rest of my make believe winter wonderland.

Be sure to stop by Susan's at BNOTP for Tablescape Thursday and at The Tablescaper for Seasonal Sundays for lots of inspiration!

A Tuscan Evening

A TUSCAN EVENING

Tonight is pasta night at the house and thought why not, let's decorate!  I kept it a little simple this time and just focused on the food. Mr. Me ( my hubbby) and I enjoy Italian cuisine, and I always try to throw a little something in every meal that I plan.

My linens this time are pillow covers that I had picked up in Rhodes. The textiles were so colorful and warm and have not used them as pillow shams. They worked great for my table though. The hand detailed craftsmanship they do on these linens are just incredible!

The hand sewn beading on these shams are just amazing. Don't you think so? I had the chance to also buy a throw that matched these pillow shams, but for some reason I listen to my son who told me no.  What was I thinking!

My charger is dinner plates that I got at Khol's last year. I started collecting square plates and I needed every day dishes, so I started with theses. After traveling to the European countries, I have been inspired by the European, Tuscan look!

The silverware is by Oneida and it is Tuscany

On top of the orange luncheon plate, I had individual cutting boards that Mr. Me  made for me. He is just awesome. I come up with a thought, plan, drawing, etc..... and he makes it for me! :)

We had started out our course with a cheese plate.

I had white grapes, Parmigiano-reggiano, Dubliner, and a Blueberry Cheese served with wheat crackers and Genoa Salami.
In front of each plate, we had our own EVOO that I took twine and wrapped each one. You could also use these as place settings and a gift to take home. Just place a sprig of rosemary and a name tag on each one. I didn't feel the need to do so with Mr. Me  and I this time.  I wish I would have though. This was for our bread dipping.

Napkin rings are actually curtin rod holders and the napkins came from Khol's this year.
Our main course was our Pasta Tubes in a Vodka Sauce. I cheated this time and bought my vodka sauce but I did doctor it up with some roasted fennel and pancetta. Heated up my sauce and put in the roasted fennel and pancetta. To make it a little rich and creamy, I added a container of mascarpone cheese. Plated and gave it a good helping of grated parm cheese and a swirl of EVOO.
I will let you enjoy the rest of the pictures.
