Spring Forward and Anniversary

Hello Ladies!

I have been having issues with the internet/computer and haven't been able to post.  We are going to try to get this one published. Please let me know if pics are not showing up!
I will be linking up with Susan at BNOTP for Tablescape Thursday. Please tell Susan hello and check out the lovely tablescapes being posted this week. They are amazing!

March 18th is a very special date

for two people who met,

fell in love, and promised themselves to each other.

Through the years of discovering who they are as partners,

have learned to be patient, caring, understanding, communicate, compromise, but most importantly....

how to create an everlasting love.

With hurdles to jump and bridges to cross.....

....have truly understood the meaning of growing old together.

As another year moves forward and the hands of time move forward for spring is near.....

I embrace the thought of spending 22+ more years in creating that magic....

You are my soul mate, my best friend and will be forever in my heart.
Happy Anniversary Mr. Me!

Until next time....

Muah!

Andrea

St. Patrick's Day

Hello Ladies!

Please make sure that you visit Susan at BNOTP for some amazing tables for Tablescape Thursday and
Cuisine Kathleen for her 3rd  Annual St. Patrick's Day Blog Crawl. I will be linking up and also will be checking out some wonderful tables! Please enjoy some Irish sayings that I have found.

There are good ships, and there are wood ships, the ships that sail the sea.
But the best ships are friendships, and may they always be.

May your home always be too small to hold all your friends.
May you never forget what is worth remembering,
Or remember what is best forgotten.

An Irishman is never drunk as long as he can hold on to one blade of
grass and not fall on the face of the earth.

May you get all your wishes but one,
So you always have something to strive for.

May the Lord keep you in His hand and never close His fist too tight.
May you have no frost on your Spuds,
No worms on your cabbage.
May your goat give plenty of milk.
If you inherit a donkey, may she be in foal.
Don't walk in front of me I may not follow.
Don't walk behind me I may not lead.
Walk beside me And just be my friend.

Here's to me, and here's to you,
And here's to love and laughter-
I'll be true as long as you,
And not one moment after.

May the roof above us never fall in, and may we friends gathered below never fall out
Catch the moments as they fly
and use them as ye ought man,
believe me happiness is shy
and comes not aye when sought man.

Ode to Beer Of
all my favorite things to do, The
utmost is to have a brew. My love grows for my
foamy friend, with each thirst-quenching elbow
bend. Beer's so frosty, smooth, and cold------
It's paradise----Pure liquid gold | Yes beer
means many things to me that's all for now -------I
gotta Pee

May you be rich in blessings, poor in misfortune,
Slow to make enemies, quick to make friends.
But rich or poor, slow or quick,
May you know nothing but happiness from this day forward.

Here's to the land of the Shamrock so green,
Here's to each Lad and his darlin Colleen,
Here's to the ones we love dearest and most.
May God bless ole Ireland, that's and Irish mans toast.

May you fly straight to heaven,
But if you go to Hades,
May Lethe run with Guinness!

May your thoughts be as glad as the shamrocks,
May your heart be as light as a song,
May each day bring you bright, happy hours,
That stay with you all the year long.
May the Irish hills caress you.
May her lakes and rivers bless you.
May the luck of the Irish enfold you.
May the blessings of Saint Patrick behold you.

May St. Patrick guard you wherever you go,
and guide you in whatever you do--
and may his loving protection be a blessing to you always.

May the lilt of Irish laughter
lighten every load.
May the mist of Irish magic
shorten every road...
And may all your friends remember
all the favours you are owed!

May you have love that never ends,
lots of money, and lots of friends.
Health be yours, whatever you do,
and may God send many blessings to you!
Wishing you a rainbow
For sunlight after showers—
Miles and miles of Irish smiles
For golden happy hours—
Shamrocks at your doorway
For luck and laughter too,
And a host of friends that never ends
Each day your whole life through!

Mardi Gras.....Fat Tuesday

Mardi Gras......Fat Tuesday

I will be joining The Tablescaper for Seasonal Sundays.
Also Susan over at BNOTP  for Thursday Tablescapes  for some amazing tables. Please join us!

What does Mardi Gra mean?

The word Mardi Gra are French in origin, from the middle ages.  Many think the French celebration developed from the Lupercalia (pegan rituals), of ancient Greece and Rome. The Catholic Church's observance of Lent brought the celebration to the Christians as a pre-lent feast called Boeuf Gras.  Explores and settlers brought this observance with them to New Orleans and Mobile.  The celebration has evolved and grown since then.  Technically speaking, Mardi Gras (literally translated  from French the words in the printed order means, Tuesday Fat.  But nouns are pronounce first in French, so when we translate it to English, it's Fat Tuesday
So gather your friends and have a seat...

and feast your eyes upon some good times....

Grab some beads...

My favorite is Purple, which represents  Justice,  Green represents Faith and Gold represents Power...

...and grab your mask.

For it is time to celebrate!
